Pioneer Woman bashing
When what you is successful, it attracts envy and criticism. So what is The Pioneer Woman criticized for? This post summarizes it all for you:
In The Pioneer Woman Sux
In Facebook, Ree Drummond is the Devil (Peanut Butter Pie is Sin)
But... wait! Nobody is forcing you to make her recipes, right?
- Because she is, and was, rich, and never made a clear statement on her wealth.
She never try to hide it... Just from the size of her kitchen, the design clothes she clears from her closet, or the redecoration of the "guest house", you could kind of guess what was going on?
- Because she has nannies and assistants
Hey, do you think you can create a blogging empire just in between of your homeschooling sessions, laundry loads and kitchen duties?
- Because of the ethics of making money by posting pictures of children
It’s a baby. A picture of a father with a baby from her book tour.
Granted, it’s an adorable baby. Cute. Chubby. But, it’s a baby.
Within hours it garnered her a couple grand in advertising and nearly 200 comments.
For a picture of a baby.
In The Pioneer Woman Sux
- Because of the amount of butter of her recipes
The Pioneer Woman Cooks is not a site for anyone trying to lose weight. I try to stay away but I am drawn back daily by her tantalizing, butter laden, recipes.

I always use The Pioneer Woman Sux as an example of how there's nothing you can put on the Internet that won't offend people or draw out trolls. I mean, Ree is probably the least offensive blogger in existence, so clearly there are some people who are just going to criticize anything!
